Welcome to the June edition of the FVA Employability e-bulletin! As always there is plenty happening.
We have the inside story on the new Opportunities Fife Partnership provision and an update on the Skills Development Scotland Employability Fund in Fife for 2015-16. Read more below AND....
Book your place at next week's Know Your Network to meet new and existing employability providers and much much more. With over 30 provider stalls and a whole host of participants it is becoming the place to find out who is doing what in employability in Fife. Don't miss out!
We would also like to highlight an important event next Tuesday 09 June. 'Designing Employment Support for People with Caring Responsibilities'. This unique workshop (hosted by Dr. Sue Newberry from Funding Ideas Ltd in partnership with Opportunities Fife Partnership) will help inform the development of local Employment Support Strategy for people with caring responsibilities.

Training and Learning Opportunities

Financial Inclusion Volunteer Training
When: 10.00am - 3.00pm, Wednesday 17 June and Thursday 18 June
Where: Fife Voluntary Action, Craig Mitchell House, Flemington road, Glenrothes, KY7 5QF
Fife Voluntary Action (FVA) are looking for referrals for a two day training workshop. Volunteers will build their awareness around financial inclusion (FI), budgeting issues, welfare reform and presentation skills. Once they complete the training they will assist in the delivery of FI workshops across Fife with CARF. We are looking for volunteers from a variety of backgrounds who are open minded, have the ability to use basic software packages (Microsoft Office), and able to commit to the two days training. Skills Development Scotland Employability Fund Provision in Fife 2015-16 
We are pleased to announce that 'referral contacts' for Employability Fund 15-16 have now been published on Information for training providers | Provider Central | SDS. Staff wishing to find out more about referral options and provision in Fife should check on this and contact individual providers. Many providers will be joining us at Know Your Network next week so if you haven't booked on yet now is your chance. And for those that can't join us we will share more once it comes into the public domain.
