Q4 2015 / Q1 2016

2015 shaped up to be a good year for the overall hiring picture and 2016 is tracking to be the same! 

 

While the great news is that overall hiring is strong, at the same time it's a mixed bag in terms of where the hiring is taking place: Some companies are growing quickly; some companies have been acquired and their new parents are committing resources to their growth; some companies have been laying off due to cost controls/outsourcing and some companies are going through internal transitions that invite solid finance candidates with good process improvement experience. 

 

The key to this market is to continue to keep your ear to the ground and to continue conversations with your colleagues: have those breakfast, lunch or dinner meetings and continue to network. You will hear something for sure.
