OCS is recruiting for the position: Supervisory Community Services Program Specialist for CSBG. The deadline for applications is this Friday, September 30, 2016. The position is located in DC and announcement can be found here. The duties include:
- Planning, directing, and coordinating the implementation of the Community Services Block Grant Program (CSBG).
- Developing systems, procedures, controls, and reports for the review of CSBG applications.
- Coordinating with State officials and representatives of Indian tribes in the resolution of complex or sensitive matters identified in applications.
- Identifying problems which require revision in policy, guidelines, or instructions.
- Developing technical assistance strategies and providing advice and assistance to States and Indian tribes in the planning, management and implementation of the CSBG program.
