GPS FOR WELLBEING: NAVIGATING DATA FOR SUSTAINABLE, EQUITABLE COMMUNITIES
September 26-27, 2016 Washington, DC
Community Action talks a lot about indicators - at the family, agency, and community level - for both assessments and evaluation of outcomes. Hopefully by this time many of you have also utilized the Community Commons tool to gather a large number of indicators on your specific community to inform your community needs assessment.
Community Commons is assisting the Community Indicators Consortium to host this year's Impact Summit this September in Washington DC. The 2016 CIC Impact Summit will take a close look at new approaches and policy applications of well-being indicators and engage in dialogue both about what we can learn from international and local efforts and how we are or can be leading the field in measuring progress to move "beyond GDP" toward equitable, sustainable, healthy communities.
