ROMA NEXT GENERATION/ 
CSBG ANNUAL REPORT

The current draft of ROMA Next Generation has been released for the first of two public comment periods. The comment period runs for 60 days and offers an opportunity for the Community Action Network to comment.

Take a look at the newly released materials and join the webinars noted below. We encourage the entire Community Action Network to take a close look at the materials and work together at the local, state, and regional levels to provide feedback.  This 60-day period is our primary window to inform the process.

Assessing the Use of Debt (Loans) in Community Development: Upsides and Downsides

NASCSP's 2016 Annual Training Conference offers a valuable opportunity for professionals from around the country to come together and discuss strategies for meeting new challenges. The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) track will focus on HHS CSBG initiatives. It will also highlight best practices related to anti-poverty efforts, performance management, and performance measurement. Sessions will include updates on ROMA Next Generation, Organizational Standards, ACSI, State and Federal Accountability Measures, a discussion with the Office of Community Services about their vision for the future of the Network, and more.
