The webinar will feature Community Action Agencies that are currently incorporating father engagement tools into their offerings. Edith Rivera and David Bryant of Community Action of Central Texas will discuss their successful implementations of the "24/7 Dad" and "Understanding Dad" programs, and other NFI resources and training.

Exploring Strategies for Serving Reentering Fathers
SSRC Selections highlight research, evaluation reports, and other publications that inform the field about key issues in, and effective practices for, fostering economic self-sufficiency. This selection focuses on parental education and employment, including research on Head Start, and two-generation strategies.
Using data from the Head Start Impact Study (HSIS) this report examines whether children's participation in Head Start promotes parents' educational advancement and employment. Results are discussed in the context of using high-quality early childhood education as a platform for improving both child and parent outcomes.
