INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE

 Join us for a multi-faith observance of a day devoted to the theme of peace. The program will feature a performance by Native American Kevin Locke (Lakota and Anishinaabe). Kevin is known throughout the world as a visionary hoop dancer, a preeminent player of the North Plains flute, traditional story teller, cultural abassador, recording artist, and educator. His theme will be global unity. When he performs, "cultural barriers fall and people connect"(Fort-Wayne News-Sentinel). September 21, Saturday, 7p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 121 9th Street S. Fargo. Free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Sponsored by the Baha'i Community, Presentation Sisters, the FM Unitarian Universalist Church, and the Center for Interfaith Projects. For information, call 701 388-7368.
