IAQ Facility Monitoring
24/7 IAQ Monitoring for Multiple Facilities

Our new IAQ sensors for 24/7 facility monitoring are designed to make multiple point monitoring and datalogging as simple as possible.  The sensors integrate with your existing network and then transmit the data to an online service where you can view you data from anywhere in the world via the internet.

One of the big advantages to monitoring this way is you can remotely view the data from many different facilities simultaneously.  Alarms can be set to send you an email, call you or just show up in the data report when your custom set thresholds are exceeded.

Available parameters  include temp., humidity, particulates and several common IAQ gases (CO, CO2 and VOC) with more to be added soon.  This system can help with LEED requirements, and can make your building greener by identifying trouble spots so you can address underlying issues that may be causing costly inefficiencies in your cooling or heating program.

Greetings!

The Kanomax staff wishes you and your family a safe and happy Summer time.  In this month's issue we have high temperature anemometers, modular cleanroom monitoring, piezobalance dust monitors and IAQ monitoring for multiple facilities.
Measure Airflow Accurately up to 400°C
Anemomaster Model 6162 High Temperature Anemometer

6162
The 6162 is a unique instrument designed to measure air velocity accurately, even at high temperatures.  The unit is perfect for drying process control, forming processes such as that used in creating films or solar panels, exhaust measurements from a boiler or incinerator, or quality control for equipment such as ovens and incubators.  Accuracy is particularly important in forming and drying processes where an even steady airflow could make the difference between salable product and a costly disaster.

The unit comes equipped with analog output and onboard datalogging making it easy to integrate into your process and control operations. Probes are available in 500mm or 1000mm lengths with optional 2000mm extension rods available.  Be sure to order both the main unit and the probe that best fits your needs as both components are required to take measurements.

Modular Cleanroom Monitoring Solutions
Looking for a Custom Solution to your Custom Application?

The Kanomax cleanroom monitoring solution is designed around the idea that each cleanroom is its own unique micro-environment.  Its modular nature allows you to purchase exactly what you actually need for your individual application.

We've just introduced new analog output particle sensors that are easy to integrate into your existing management system.  Available in 1 CFM or 0.1 CFM flow rates these low-profile stainless steel enclosures are easy to setup nearly anywhere.  The analog output can go to a datalogger or a controller to help regulate various systems your cleanroom depends on.

Need a hand figuring out what kind of sensors or how many measurement points your cleanroom needs? Call Kanomax, our technical support team is happy to help you with a free phone consultation.
Piezobalance Dust Monitor
Measure Particulate Mass as well as Oil Mist!

The Piezobalance dust monitor is a unique instrument.  A typical light scattering dust monitor, such as the Kanomax model 3443 or a typical competitor unit, require a gravimetric sampling of the material being monitored in order to display an accurate mass concentration.  The piezobalance monitor can provide the mass concentration without the need for gravimetric sampling.

The unit measures mass concentration by collecting the sampled material on a piezo crystal.  The unit is then able to measure the change in frequency of the crystal to extrapolate the total mass concentration of the sample.  This unique technology means this unit is suitable for measuring oil mist, such as that encountered commonly in restaurant kitchens.  Light-scattering monitors are not capable of measuring oil mist.  however, because the piezocrystal needs to be cleaned every hour or so this instrument is better for short-term monitoring or spot checking.
