Hamilton - City of Music
Hamilton now has a Music Office. Through the expense of $50,000, City staff have been directed to create a Music Office in order to build an already strong music scene- a Canadian leader for many years. The office will encourage musicians, attract and promote music-related businesses, promote events and tap into provincial databases to help local musicians. The office will be located in the Lister Block, and work is set to commence shortly through the new office in the downtown core- adding to the already burgeoning creative industries sector in the heart of the city. |
