Last night on the TV series, Cosmos, what started out as an exploration of how old the earth is, turned into how industry abuses science to protect their profits. Scientist, Clair Patterson was searching for the age of the earth based on the amount of lead in rock. He then discovered leaded gasoline was polluting the environment, and spoke out about it, knowing everyone was is in danger from the invisible toxin. The industry said, lead is naturally occurring, there's no proof of harm, and its safe. The industry used science against the environment. They used the same lies and deceptions as the wireless industry uses today.

Electrical pollution is today's widespread invisible environmental toxin. The World Health Organization classifies EMF's as a possible carcinogen, same as lead. We are unprotected by public policy, and we're surrounded by electricity. How do you know if your health is affected?

You learn by reducing your exposure. People are discovering they can improve their health by practicing prudent avoidance of EMF's. One place to start is by using a corded phone and removing cordless phones. This is especially important for children.

US Dept of the Interior warns towers threaten birds

In a letter regarding a new nationwide wi-fi deployment (called *FirstNet), the US Department of the Interior states the wireless proposal threatens birds, and is not consistent with current information and laws that protect birds. They called for an environmental review.

Two hundred forty one bird species are at mortality risk from both tower collisions and from exposure to the radiation towers emit.

Santa Clara County MD warns: Internet and Wi-Fi in schools can affect learning

Cindy Lee Russell, M.D., Vice President of Community Health, Santa Clara County Medical Association wrote an article warning about the health risks of technology in schools. Dr. Russell recommends:

Remove wireless devices (white boards and routers) in schools in favor of wired connections and fiberoptic.
If there is Wi-Fi, then give teachers the authority to turn it off when not in use or if they feel it is not necessary.
Ban cell towers near or on schools.
Limit screen time on computers.
Limit or ban cell phone use in the class
Limit or ban cell phone use at home
Do not allow laptops to be placed on laps
Undertake independent scientific studies on Wi-Fi and computer use that look at acute and long-term health effects.
Train teachers how to recognize symptoms of EMF reactions.
Conduct meetings with parents and teachers to address this issue in each school.
