On Tuesday December 10, Cindy Sage and Dr. Martha Herbert will be on a conference call to discuss their new study on EMF and autism. This is great opportunity to learn about the science from these experts.  You'll need to RSVP for this call, see more info below.

The California Public Utilities Commission is continuing to stall in the opt-out proceeding.  Meanwhile tens of thousands of people are being charged opt out fees, to not have something they don't want- the smart meter!  The waiting game is very frustrating.  If you have ideas for what we might do, maybe a direct action, or?  Please let me know.

I've been making some changes to the website, to make it more concise and clear, so people can get the info they need quickly- and dig deeper if they have more time.  You'll be seeing more changes over the next few months.

In the 1970's before widespread use of cell phones autism was a comparatively rare health issue. Today, autism is so prevalent that the Centers for Disease Control call it a national health crisis.

A new study (part one), (part two) reports that exposures from electromagnetic fields and wireless radiation may contribute to autism.

Co-authors Dr. Martha Herbert and Cindy Sage have integrated the results of over 550 scientific studies that report biological effects of electromagnetic radiation and wireless exposures, and of common biology and brain problems in autism.

Teleconference call

On Tuesday December 10, 2013 at 1:00 pm Pacific / 4:00 pm Eastern the CHE EMF Working Group hosts a teleconference call with Cindy Sage and Dr. Herbert. 

There will be a quick overview of the BioInitiative 2012 Report, followed by a discussion about the possible links between autism and EMF, based on the recently published study.

An international organization of doctors and scientists recognize smart meters are harming people's health.  They say, "The evidence is irrefutable." and call for further research, accommodations and avoidance of smart meters.  This new statement is based on a review of cases by Dr. Lamech in Australia. Here's their recently adopted statement: Smart Meter Case Series  We are waiting for these case studies to be made public.
