Sebastopol area residents,
On Tuesday Dec 6, the Sebastopol City Council will decide either to allow or deny adding more cell tower radiation to Sebastopol. While some people want Verizon to "Rule the Air" in town, others don't. The Planning Commission approved Verizon's application and the EMF Safety Network filed an appeal.
Read the appeal here:
Read Verizon's response to the appeal:
Sebastopol is already profiting over $30,000 a year from the sale of radiation in town, and they won't receive a penny more for the additional waves.
If approved you could be downloading and emailing videos through the air at the plaza, or anywhere in Sebastopol, or, like me you may have to avoid the downtown core so you don't get hit with painful "flash headaches" that 4G Networks can cause.
The meeting starts at 6pm but expect the topic on the agenda after 7pm at the Sebastopol Youth Annex, 425 Morris Street.
This is a really important topic for our community. Is it OK for the City to use community space for a environmental toxin that is classified as a possible carcinogen, same as DDT and lead? Is it OK that the City is bullied into accepting more, stronger cell tower antennas and networks because they are afraid of getting sued by the industry?
