NCCD was founded in 1907 to help reform the juvenile court movement as a means of keeping children out of the criminal justice system. Today NCCD's expertise extends to the fields of child welfare, adult justice, juvenile justice, education, and adult protective services.


 

Founded in 1975, YAP is a nationally recognized, nonprofit organization exclusively committed to deinstitutionalization of youth in the juvenile justice, child welfare and behavioral health systems through direct in-home community-based services, advocacy and policy change.
