NOACA Governing Board Adopts Major Planning Documents

Northeast Ohio has a new long-range transportation plan, Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and regional bicycle plan. The NOACA Governing Board approved all three planning documents at their May meeting, and the final documents are posted on NOACA's website.

  • Connections+ 2035,
    the long-range
    long-range transportation plan
Connections+ 2035, the long range transportation plan
transportation plan, offers a vision of transportation more than 20 years into the future, and describes major projects proposed for implementation.
  • The State Fiscal Years 2014-2017 TIP is a fiscally constrained list of federally funded road, bridge, transit, bikeway and enhancement projects scheduled for implementation within the next four years. The TIP serves as the implementation tool for the long-range transportation plan.
  • The 2013 Regional Bicycle Plan provides a vision for increasing the use of bicycles for transportation and serves as a guide for developing bicycle infrastructure in northeast Ohio. It is a component of the long-range transportation plan.
