Indoor Soccer

  Indoor Soccer

What are the benefits of indoor soccer?

First of all it's never a bad thing for players to continue touching the ball during the 'off season' it helps to keep players enthused and engaged and can allow an effective transition into spring soccer. Add to that it is often easier to teach skills in an indoor setting away from the weather and environmental factors. For example developing the skill of receiving the ball on a nice flat indoor surface as opposed to a rutted bumpy field.

The other 'indoor soccer decision' is should your team / child participate in a league or a skills development program. Since both have their benefits an ideal indoor / winter program should include the opportunity for both.

As always with youth players keep it fun if they enjoy it they come back for more!

Ta Ta for now!
