Amanda McCavour Gallery Opening & Talk
Friday at 6:00 pm at the Olin Art Gallery
On behalf of the Olin Art Gallery and the Art Department, it is with extreme pleasure that we invite the entire W&J community to attend the opening reception and artist talk for the sculpture installation titled: "Pink Field, Blue Fog" by Amanda McCavour on Friday from 6:00-7:30 pm. The artist will begin her talk at approximately 6:30 pm in the Olin Art Gallery. 

The exhibition continues through April 3rd. The gallery will be closed for spring break March 19-27.

Presidents Without Borders BWW Fundraiser

Please help support Presidents Without Borders' annual medical mission trip by going to Buffalo Wild Wings today! Ten W&J students, along with two physicians from The Washington Health System will travel to Costa Rica this August to volunteer in medical clinics and hospitals around San Jose. When you show this ticket, "W&J Presidents Without Borders," 10% of your total bill will be donated towards the club fund. Please help to make this a success!

Back Gym of Henry Memorial Closed
 
Due to construction of the new coaches' offices, the back gym area in Henry Memorial is now closed and will not be able to be used for recreational activities until the construction work is completed.
   
Maxwell Application Deadline is Monday

Funded by J. Robert Maxwell '43, the J. Robert Maxwell '43 Student Internship Endowment (hereinafter, the Maxwell Internship Award) is intended to support students who can demonstrate financial need in completing off-campus internship experiences. The internship is not restricted to any geographic location, major, or type of institution (e.g. academic, for-profit, non-profit, government). Sophomores and Juniors with a 3.0+ cumulative GPA and a secured internship, or who are in the process of securing an internship, during the summer of 2016 are eligible to apply.

Donate Your Used Sneakers!
 
Support the PAC Nike Grind Project
Donate your used athletic sneakers to the Presidents' Athletic Conference Nike Grind Project, sponsored by W&J's Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). The Nike Grind project uses all parts of donated shoes by recycling and turning them into athletic surfaces such as sports courts, playgrounds, tennis courts, and tracks. Any brand of athletic sneaker are accepted and donations can be placed in the wire bin located at the entrance to the Swanson Wellness Center until March 18.

Tri County Patriots 5K Run, Walk, Roll Event

The Tri-County Patriots for Independent Living will be holding their annual 5K Run, Walk, Roll event on Saturday, April 23 at Mingo Creek Park from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Registration for the event begins at 7:30 am on the day of the race, or can be completed prior to the day of the race. The cost of registration is $20, and includes a t-shirt, course map, race bib, and other goodies.  If you are interested in volunteering or participating in this event, please contact Josh Makepeace (jmakepeace@washjeff.edu) to obtain a registration form.
