CEPM Student Research Paper Competition
W&J students regularly conduct research on energy and energy-related topics in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science, economics, political science, and public policy among others. In the spring of 2015, the CEPM, in collaboration with the Sustainability Committee, inaugurated a student research competition on energy, the environment, and sustainability to encourage and showcase these research activities. Seven students participated and cash prizes were awarded to the top three research projects as judged by a group of professionals drawn from industry, government, non-profit and consulting sectors. All of the research papers were published on the CEPM website, at www.wjenergy.org.
The CEPM will hold its second annual competition this spring with research papers due on Monday, May 2. Additionally, research posters will be presented on Tuesday, May 10 in conjunction with the Spring Poster Session with a reception to follow immediately.
Subsequent announcements will identify the date and process for students to register to participate. For further information contact Dr. Robert Dunn ( rdunn@washjeff.edu ) or Diana Stares ( dstares@washjeff.edu.)

Participants may have an opportunity to attend a free FRN conference at the University of Maryland in April! To get involved here at W&J, email volunteer@washjeff.edu or sustainability@washjeff.edu.
