SGA SPRING CONCERT:
MIKE STUD

Join us as Student Government Association brings Mike Stud and DJ Bonics to campus. Doors will open at 8:30 p.m. with performances starting at 9:00 p.m. on Olin lawn. Please bring your student ID with you for free admission including a wrist band. Entrance for faculty, staff, and community members can be bought at the door for $10. 

 

A few details about the event:

  • Reentry with wristband only
  • No alcohol or drugs
  • No bags, purses or backpacks

EARTH MONTH EVENTS THIS WEEKEND

 

This weekend will feature several events in celebration of Earth Month:

 

On Thursday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, come to the Eco Expo on the Rossin Patio!

  

On Friday from 7:00 - 9:00 pm come to Club 126 in the Hub for the Green Room event!

 

On Saturday at 8:00 am Green Club will host "Paddle with Pollution. The trip departs from the campus center circle. Spots are still available! Please email Naomi Bick at bickna@jay.washjeff.edu.

 

OPEN MIC NIGHT WITH AARON KOMINOS-SMITH

GREEK SING & 90s NICK FASHION SHOW

Tonight at 8:00 pm in the Ballroom

Greek Sing is tonight at 8:00 pm in the Ballroom. There is no admission to get into the event.  The Greek Organizations will compete in a lip syncing contest to the Greek Week Theme 90s Nickelodeon. There will also be a 90s Nickelodeon Fashion show where members are dressed up in their favorite character.

 

Kappa Alpha Theta won last year. We hope to see you there!

Join W&J's Gay-Straight Alliance this Friday from 8:30-11:00 pm in the Rossin Ballroom as we kick off Pride Week with a Pride Prom.  This event celebrates breaking the silence after National Day of Silence, which raises awareness of the bullying towards the LGBT community.  Enjoy a night filled with great music and light refreshments as we dance the night away.

 

GREEK OLYMPICS

This Saturday Starting at Noon
Come see the Greek Olympics this Saturday on the Olin Lawn! Events include Tug O' War Corn Hole Saturday, Obstacle Course, Water Balloon Toss, Egg on a Spoon, Relay Race Relay Race, Dizzy Bat, 3-Legged Race, Food Eating, and Chariot Races. The events kick off at noon. All are welcome to come and watch!
 
ALL HUMAN LIVES MATTER MARCH

This Sunday at 2:00 pm

The Friendship Baptist Church is hosting a "All Human Lives Matter" march in response to the violence that has been erupting in the Washington community and the world in general. The march will begin at the church and finish at the courthouse with several speakers. W&J's own Ronnie Thomas-Smith will speaking at this event.  Please come out and show your support!

Movin' Out! W&J's End of Year Sale & Charity Benefit - Registration is now open!

Why toss away all of your unwanted items at the end of the year, when you can make some money?! Join us for "Movin' Out," W&J's End of Year Sale & Charity Benefit! Movin' Out is a campus-wide yard sale for student, faculty and staff sellers, with sales being open to the community. Reserve your seller's table for the event today! There is a $10 fee for individual sellers (per table) and a 25% of final sales fee for student organizations and groups (multiple tables).  After the fees, Monday from the sales is yours to keep! Use this as a fundraiser for your organization, as a benefit for your own charity or cause, or keep the funds to help recuperate some of those semester expenses. It's up to you!
