WATER POLO BAKE SALE

The men's and women's water polo teams are holding a bake sale in G&T's until Friday. Items will be available to purchase from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm each day. Come out support the teams!

EASTER CROSS DISPLAY

Through Next Week

In preparation for the Easter holiday, the Student Christian Association will be placing a chalkboard-painted cross in the Ski Lodge.  The SCA invites students and faculty to contemplate and discuss the meaning of the cross and express their thoughts by writing on the display.  The cross will be displayed until next week in the Ski Lodge.

 

ALD TOM'S SHOES FUNDRAISER CONTINUES

Today and Tomorrow from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm & 5:00 - 7:00 pm

ALD is selling Tom's Shoes until Friday from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm in G&T's and 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm in the Commons. Come and order a pair of shoes (or more!) for a discounted price of $42. 

 

GIRL SCOUT COOKIES FOR SALE - TODAY!

The local Girl Scouts of the USA will be back on campus with their famous fundraiser today, Thursday, April 2 from 4:30PM - 6:30PM at the tables at George & Toms.  Please consider purchasing cookies to support this great organization.

 

SUSTAINABLE SUSHI EVENT

 

Today at 5:30 pm in the Ballroom

W&J Green Club will have their annual Sustainable Sushi event today in the Ballroom from 5:30-7 pm. Come to eat fresh sushi and learn to make your own California roll. RSVP to secure your spot by emailing Lauren Horning (horningle@jay.washjeff.edu).
 

SGA ASSEMBLY MEETING

Please be advised that the next Student Government Association General Assembly meeting will be held tonight at 7:00 pm in the Yost Auditorium. Following SGA meetings will be held on April 16 and April 30 at 7:00 pm in the Yost Auditorium.

CLUB 126: BRAZILIAN SAMBA DANCE LESSONS

Friday at 8:00 pm

This Friday, in the Hub Alley there will be a Brazilian samba dance lesson at 8:00 pm as part of Club 126.  Come and learn some new moves while enjoying light refreshments and practicing your dancing and your Portuguese!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
APRIL PRODUCE TO PEOPLE - REGISTER TODAY!

Register by Monday, April 6 at 5:00 pm
The Greater Washington County Food Bank Produce to People food distribution is in need of volunteers on Tuesday, April 7 from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Produce to People is the Food Bank's large-scale produce distribution program. Volunteers are needed to assist with anything from passing out the produce, to acting as runners and support. Volunteers can sign up for the full experience or for shorter shifts. Transportation is provided, and a shuttle leaves campus on the hour each hour and returns to campus on the half hour. To register to volunteer, fill out the form here. Please register by Monday, April 6 at 5:00 pm.
 
HUMANE SOCIETY VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION

Register Today!
The Office of Community Engagement is coordinating another volunteer orientation and training with the Washington Area Humane Society on Sunday, April 19 from 2:00PM - 3:00PM. All volunteers with the Humane Society are required to participate in this orientation, and this training has been set up specifically for our students. Trained volunteers will have first come first serve on future W&J coordinated volunteer efforts with the WAHS. There are a limited number of spaces available, and they will be filled on a first come first serve basis. You can sign up here.  Any questions can be directed to volunteer@washjeff.edu.

Movin' Out! W&J's End of Year Sale & Charity Benefit - Registration is now open!

Why toss away all of your unwanted items at the end of the year, when you can make some money?! Join us for "Movin' Out," W&J's End of Year Sale & Charity Benefit! Movin' Out is a campus-wide yard sale for student, faculty and staff sellers, with sales being open to the community. Reserve your seller's table for the event today! There is a $10 fee for individual sellers (per table) and a 25% of final sales fee for student organizations and groups (multiple tables).  After the fees, Monday from the sales is yours to keep! Use this as a fundraiser for your organization, as a benefit for your own charity or cause, or keep the funds to help recuperate some of those semester expenses. It's up to you! The General Housing Selection lottery was held and the results are now available. Click here to view your group's Selection Number. 

 

General Housing Selection will take place in the Rossin Campus Center Ballroom from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, April 6th and Tuesday April 7th.  Your selection day and arrival time is specific to your Selection Number.

 

ALL GROUP MEMBERS MUST BE PRESENT OR HAVE SIGNED PROXY FORMSFOR MISSING MEMBERS. Groups CANNOT select housing if a group member is missing and has not signed a proxy form. Please arrive 5 minutes before your group's scheduled time.
