The Matthew Brown Fellowship

First Presbyterian Church 1793 is accepting applications for the Matthew Brown Fellowship. The Matthew Brown Fellowship is a faith-based project linking students with community service positions in Washington during the up-coming academic year.Students selected as fellows in the inter-faith project will be assigned to volunteer area community service organizations for an average of 5-6 hours a week or 15 hours per month.Fellows volunteer no less than 60 hours per semester and earn a stipend of $500.00 per semester ($1000.00 per year). Students will also receive a $250.00 book bonus at the beginning of each semester for books and supplies.The application deadline is 5 pm, Mon., March 30, 2015.  Students can find the application here.

BRING YOUR BIKE TO CAMPUS!

Are you interested in bringing your bicycle to campus after spring break, but don't have anywhere to store it when you're not using it and don't want to leave it outside? The Sustainability Committee is now offering indoor bike storage to students on campus!  This is only available to a limited number of students, and it will be on first come first serve reservation basis.  The bike storage unit will be in the lower level of Beau in a locked unit, and you will be able to lock your bike to wall-mounted bike racks in the room.  Students utilizing the bike storage will receive a key to the room.  If you have questions or would like to reserve to reserve a spot for your bicycle, please email sustainability@washjeff.edu.  The bike storage will be available the Monday after spring break, Monday, March 23.
