A Textbook Buyback event will be held at the Campus Store from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm today and tomorrow. 

 

SPRING WORK STUDY POSITIONS AVAILABLE

America Reads

The Office of Community Engagement is looking for new mentors for the America Reads Program at the LeMoyne Community Center for the spring semester. 

Students can mentor any day or days Monday-Friday from approximately 2:45 pm - 6:00 pm with a minimum commitment of one day per week.  Mentors help kids K-8 (and often times older) with their homework and extra learning activities.  Students can be a tutor/mentor as a volunteer or as a paid FWS student.  If you are looking for an work-study job for the spring, this is a great opportunity! If you are interested in FWS or volunteering, you can fill out the application via the button below, or stop by G&T's during lunch today tomorrow, or next Monday and Tuesday (Feb. 2 & 3).  Finally, there will be an information session on February 4th at 7:00 pm in the Hub Fireplace Lounge. Apply today!

FEBRUARY PRODUCE TO PEOPLE

The Greater Washington County Food Bank Produce to People food distribution is in need of volunteers on Tuesday, February 3 from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Produce to People is the Food Bank's large-scale produce distribution program. Volunteers are needed to assist with anything from passing out the produce, to acting as runners and support. Volunteers can sign up for the full experience or for shorter shifts. Transportation is provided.  All volunteers are entered to win a $50 gift card! For each hour you volunteer, you get an extra chance! To register to volunteer, fill out the form via the button below. Please register by Sunday, February 1.
