ERIC ANDRE LIVE THIS SATURDAY

Adult Swim's Eric Andre will be performing live this Saturday at 7:30 pm in the Olin Theatre! All W&J Students can get 1 free ticket and additional tickets are available for faculty, staff, and community members for $5. Tickets can picked up or purchased in the HUB. 

NATIONAL COLLEGE RADIO DAY

WNJR Open House on Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm


 

Washington & Jefferson College Radio (WNJR) will be having an Open House from 9am until 5pm. Everyone is invited to come see the brand new studio and staff office (Burnett 002), meet the staff, and learn all about the radio station. 

 

Come join us on Friday for:

 

-Free refreshments (donuts, cookies, drinks)

-Info on what it takes to host your own student/community member radio show

-WNJR t-shirts and free bumper stickers

-The chance to win a $100 or $10 W&J Bookstore gift card

-Enter a raffle to win a free WNJR t-shirt

-Face painting from 2-5pm

-Live radio shows by our community member volunteers

FALL INTO AUTUMN WITH THETA & DELT

Come to Campus Center Circle this Friday at 11:00 am to get some delicious assorted fall themed baked goods and to support both organizations' philanthropies! The sale goes until 3:00 pm!

INTRAMURAL SPORTS UPCOMING LEAGUES

Volleyball and Floor Hockey

 

Registrations for Intramural Volleyball and Floor Hockey are open until this Friday, at 12:00 pm.  

Please submit registrations to imsports@washjeff.edu (include team name and roster members in email). Both sports will be played in the Henry Memorial Back Gym and the leagues run from October 6-23.  Volleyball requires a minimum 4 players with at least two being girls, and Floor Hockey requires a minimum 4 players (sticks and goalie equipment provided by IM staff).

COMMUNITY MARCH FOR PEACE

Saturday at 10:00 am at McMillan Hall Lawn


Grab a neighbor, your family, a raincoat, and join the third annual commUNITY March for Peace this Saturday! This year our focus is on promoting peace through our children and their education...WNJR DJ's will be playing tunes as we begin at 10 am with a community meet & greet, followed by speakers including present and future community leaders...several of our speakers will be Wash Park Elementary Essayists speaking on their ideas for a 'Better Washington'. Activities include donut eating, face painting, temporary tattoos, poster-making, and a collective-kid-created-community-banner. We hope you can make it...the more the merrier!
 

OFFICIAL WHITE-OUT FOOTBALL GAME

W&J Football Game vs. Thomas More


 
Help us celebrate Tim McNerney's legacy on Saturday, October 4th at 7:00 pm under the lights at Cameron Stadium as our Football Team takes on Thomas More College.  W&J Student Jake Dunks Campbell is leading the efforts to establish this day as "Tim McNerney Day" and requests that all W&J campus members in attendance make this a "White-Out Game" by wearing white and/or a white ribbon in honor of Tim.  Additionally, Tim's parents will be attending the game, so it would be great if we can all come out and show our collective support!

Come see the Steelers play the Jaguars at G&Ts on the 70 inch screen! There is even a half time prize drawing! G&T's also has specials every Sunday from 1:00 - 4:00 pm during the football season; a black and gold burger and an appetizer basket.

Joe Dionisio of Penn State will present information regarding their Master of Health Administration Program. 4:00 pm in the Media Room.

 

George & Tom Mascot Auditions at 8:00 pm

Show your W&J pride by auditioning to become a part of the George & Tom Mascot Team! Students who sign up to be George & Tom get paid for every appearance and get the opportunity to spread their W&J pride all over southwestern PA at various events.
