I don't usually think of the Hollywood crowd when looking for words of wisdom and inspiration. But when this video came to my attention, I decided to make an exception. If you have about 4 minutes to give it a listen, I hope you will agree.
I would like to introduce to you the newest members of the Bill Foundation Family! Meet Nora (Mama), Connor (b/w pup) and Riley (black pup), aka the Murphy Family!!
This precious little family was rescued this morning from the shelter. Mama Nora was so terrified in the shelter that she couldn't stop shaking. The moment we got into my car, she laid down, with her pups tucked up by her tummy and took the first quiet nap she has had in a while. When we reached the vet, she was still sleeping soundly and I didn't have the heart to wake her, so we sat quietly in the car for another hour so she could enjoy the peace and quiet.
While awaiting their exams, Nora seemed a bit torn between being with her babies and snuggling on my lap. She went back and forth until we figured out a way for her to snuggle up with me AND nurse her babies in my lap.
Nora is a gem and her baby boys - Connor and Riley - are simply adorable! So glad we have the Murphy family safe and sound with us.
