Hello Neighbor!

We are excited for another great year with the Neighbor's Club! The year kicked off with "Back to School Bagels and Mimosas" last week. Also this month will be a Halloween Costume Swap with FAN and of course, the Annual House Hop!

If you are a new member, consider attending a New Member's Dinner. It's a great way to meet some couples in a more intimate setting. If you have been a member for a while, but haven't attended a dinner yet, please let us know. We'd love to have you attend one!

Read on to see what's coming up in the months ahead!

All the best,

Laura Gordon and Carey-Sue Barney

Back to School Bagels and Mimosas Event

Laura Gordon gracefully hosted our second annual Back to School Bagels and Mimosas event last week, attended by 15 women and at least that many toddlers and babies!  We had a wonderful time reconnecting after the summer and kicking off the school year with some treats for the moms and the kids.  Thank you Laura!  For more photos, please click here.

House Hop
Annual House Hop

Saturday, September 28th 6:30 PM

We hope you can join us for our Annual House Hop, WNC's most popular event! It is a progressive cocktails, dinner, and dessert event and a great way to meet new people in town and celebrate with old friends. See Photos from last year's House Hop that was attended by over 100 people by clicking [here].

This year's House Hop will kick off with appetizers at the beautiful home of Carey Sue and Fred Barney located at 6 Lawson Rd.  From there everyone will depart for smaller group dinners hosted at various member homes in town before coming back together for dessert. Please respond to the Evite and remember to buy tickets here and if necessary, renew your membership here as well.  You will receive an email from your dinner host within a week of the event.

We are looking for volunteers to host the smaller group dinners in order to continue to keep this long running Winchester tradition successful.  Please contact this year's House Hop coordinator, Megan Shaw [megan@shawmail.me], if you are able to host or would just like to inquire about it

Thirsty Thursday meets on the third Thursday of every month. We rotate locations to keep it fresh. Email Juleby Hirsch at guysnightout@winchesterneighbors.com to be added to the regular Thirsty Thursday reminder email list.

If you are coming for the first time please consider sending an email to Juleby at the above email so we know to look for you.

This is a Winchester Neighbors Club event, but non-members are also welcome so we encourage you to spread the word to your friends and neighbors in town and GET THIRSTY!

Special Request for the Ladies - Since a majority of the WNC email list is women, we need your help with forwarding the Thirsty Thursday details above to your husbands if they are not already on the Guys Night Out email list above.
