Music Festival

The St. Jerome COVE primary school choir participated in the Primary School Sacred Music Religious festival this year. Being a Catholic founded School, the school received the participation invitation after Teacher Hellen attended a Music course. On April 7, 2013 they first participated at parish level where they were second out of the eight schools that participated at this level. Items for the year were: Set piece, poem, original composition and prayer. At this level, only two schools qualify to the diocese level from each parish. St. Jerome COVE primary School in this case, qualified as the second winner in set piece and prayer from the Kapeeka parish.

On April 12, 2013, St. Jerome COVE Primary School went to the diocese for the final day of competition. At the end of the day, St. Jerome COVE primary school became seventh out of eighteen schools that participated on that day. Among the prizes won include the trophy and Basin for the trainee.

The students and the teaching staff of St. Jerome COVE Primary School attributed success due to good conduct and attitude and a professional trainer.
