Updates on Milledge...
Renovation Updates...
Renovations on the pulpit/choir area begin Monday, January 12th. We will worship in the Fellowship Hall until renovations are complete. The renovations are projected to take around 55 days.
The first floor of the sanctuary must be closed during the construction. However, the balcony may be used as an observation deck, for a great view of the progression of the renovation.

Women's Bible Study...
The Sunday Evening Women's Bible Study will begin their study of James: Mercy Triumphs by Beth Moore on February 8th. They start at 5pm. If you're interested in this study, please contact Mary Boswell or Carole Sosebee.
________________________________________________________________
The Tuesday Morning Women's Bible Study invites you to join them in their study of The Amazing Collection: The Bible Book-by-Book for Women. The Bible, inspired by God Himself, is God's love letter, His invitation to become His child through His Son, Jesus Christ. In our study of this love letter, we discover God, and through Him, receive hope, assurance, freedom from fear, guidance for everyday life, wisdom, joy, peace, power, and above all, the way of redemption. We find all we need to live the life we have always longed for-abundant life.
The sessions, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., feature dynamic DVD instruction, a variety of contemporary music, and powerful personal testimonies. Joan Humphries leads group discussion and prayer time, while Pat Britton and Mary Ann Godwin provide refreshments. Spring session opens on Tuesday, February 17th and ends on May 12th, with breaks on February 24th for La Table, the charity luncheon for Interfaith Hospitality Network, and a later Spring Break, the week of April 12th.
Study begins with Book 7: The Later Minor Prophets, and concludes with Book 8: The New Testament Historical Books, Matthew-Acts. Following study of The Early Minor Prophets last spring, we conclude study of the Old Testament with these prophets, minor in length but major in meaning. At last, we cross the "400 silent years" into the New Testament with a study of the four gospels and the book of Acts. It is not necessary to have participated in previous studies to join the group. Each week's study is self-contained.
Books are $11.50 each. First-time participants should notify Carrie Juarez at carrie@milledge.org or call her at 706-354-0090 to order a book. Books may be picked up the week of February 10th to preview Week l: Nahum.
Questions may be referred to Joan Humphries at mrsdocjoan@gmail.com or Pat Britton at 706-543-6885.
