Helping Commission Baptist Serve Liberia...

Last Sunday and again this Sunday, our sister church, Commission Baptist, distributed more than four tons of rice, beans, cooking oil, seasoning, and cassava (similar to sweet potatos) to 100 households in their congregation and community. Additionally, they are providing food to both a blind and deaf/mute enclave.

MABC provided $4000 in late October for our Christian brothers and sisters in Liberia. Last week, we received $3125 in offerings for a November distribution of food.

Rev. Augustine S. Weah, Sr., sends this message from our sister church: "May I express our gratitude for the tremendous efforts you have been exerting in bringing the congregation of Commission nearer in sight and in heart to your congregation. Our food distribution will conclude this Sunday. And our sister Kebbeh is out of Ebola quarantine; her children and husband are well; and they will all return to worship with us at the beginning of December.
