Youth LOCK-In
For all rising 6th-12th graders Friday, August 8 at 7 pm after supper to Saturday August 9th at 8 am after breakfast.  We will play games, decorate the youth rooms, go to Stars and Strikes, do a scavenger hunt or two, go shopping for snacks and go out to eat breakfast.  Cost is $25 per person.

Sunday School
We are kicking off a new year of Sunday School this Sunday. Please be aware of a few changes...
  • K-4th grades: meet in the Planet 56 room, middle classroom on the 2nd floor of the Kinney Children's Building
  • 5th-8th grades: meet in room 321, 2nd floor of the Education Building
  • 9th-12th grades: meet in room 323, 2nd floor of the Education Building

Acolyte Training
For rising 3rd-5th graders after church on Sunday, August 10th fro noon to 2pm, lunch is included.

Children's Pool Party!!!
Due to the rain at our first pool party, we have rescheduled it for Sunday, August 17 from 3-5pm.

Family Dinner @ 5:30pm...RESERVATIONS NEEDED!
You can make your reservations online, by calling the church office, or emailing Carrie. Please reserve your meal before 10am on Mondays. To ensure we have enough food for everyone to enjoy, please be sure to make your reservation. 

Cost: Adults ($7.00)
Children ages 4-12 ($4.00) *children under 4 eat free
Family cap ($20.00)

Children's Choir @ 6:05pm
Our Pre-k children will meet in the nursery on the 1st floor of the Kinney Children's Bldg for learning and preschool choir, led by Graham Brooks.

Our children in grades k-6th will meet in the Children's Choir room located on the 2nd floor of the Kinney Children's Bldg for choire rehearsal, led by Laura Marlow.

Adult Spiritual Growth Opportunities @ 6:00pm
Adult Bible Study...Adult Bible Study Lessons will cover the life of Moses as we study the Book of Exodus. These lessons will correspond to our Sunday Sermon Series so this is a wonderful way to expand on your spiritual growth. Youth are invited to join us.

Missions@Milledge

The MABC Missions Committee, working with Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, continues to serve together as a "Community Partner in Education" with Clarke Middle School. Below are a few ways you can help...
1. School Uniforms: Our two congregations will maintain and stock the school's "Uniform" pantry. They currently have an abundance of pants, shorts and skirts. They urgently need: short-sleeved polo shirts, adult sizes small, large and extra large. Colors must be white, blue or navy. (Donna McEwan and Akinloye Ojo are our contact people for this)

2. Food2Kids: Our two congregations will make sure that every child at CMS is able to participate in the Food2Kids weekend food program. In August and September, we are collecting Peanut Butter.

3. School supplies: While everything is on sale-the school is requesting #2 pencils, notebook paper, and composition books (no spiral notebooks).

4. Prayers: Middle School is a wonderful time and where most of our children grow, mentally, physically, and emotionally. This means it can also be a challenging time for them and the faculty and staff who are trying to help guide them through it. Please keep them in your prayers.

*these items can be brought to the church office or placed in the boxes located in the vestibule and Gathering Room.
MABC Bulldawg BBQ Bash 
"This is the way we do church"

Join us on the front lawn on Sunday, August 24th from 5-8pm!

Featuring: Bulldawg Music and Tailgate Activities for Children
MABC will provide BBQ, Buns and Beverages. So we know how many people to plan for, please register online!
