How we plan to be Thankful!

As Thanksgiving approaches, we at Seven Oaks Doors and Hardware are very aware of the many things we have to be thankful for.  Because of that, we have decided to encourage and support Healing Waters Ministries as they collect clothing and other needed items to share with folks in Whitley City, Kentucky.  This area has been devastated by the closing of most of the coal mines in the area.  Healing Waters Ministries will be delivering and distributing these items December 3, 4, and 5.  We are collecting clothes and many other needed items here at Seven Oaks Doors and Hardware to take to the distribution station in Kentucky as well as volunteering our time to help with that distribution.  Included in this newsletter are a couple of pictures from last year's distribution to the people in need in an area of West Virginia.

I am asking each of you who receive this newsletter to contribute something we can share with these people.  We will be collecting clothing and other needed items here at Seven Oaks Doors and Hardware, 329 South Main St., Oakboro, NC 28129.

Oh, and by the way, this Thanksgiving newsletter would not be complete if I did not thank you our customers and friends for all the business you have sent our way this year.  We are very Thankful and will strive to work even harder next year to keep your confidence.

I appreciate you!

The Love Project

Seven Oaks Doors & Hardware, Inc. is collecting supplies for Healing Waters Ministries, a non-profit organization. Healing Waters Ministries is currently working on a project entitled The Love Project 2015 (In Memory of Mrs. Dean Little). The Ministry has a desire to fulfill basic needs in Whitley City, Kentucky and the surrounding area where large numbers of people are unemployed. The Love Project 2015 has been called to supply at least 1,000 children and their families with a Christmas that can provide basic needs with a little love and joy.
The supplies we are in search of, but are not limited to are as follows:
Coats, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Winter shoes, Food, Baby items- diapers, food, bottles, clothes, etc..., Personal hygiene items, Clothes, Toys, Bicycles and riding toys, Teen items, Blankets or sleeping bags

Let's work together for this community providing the basic needs that we all take for granted, with extra for Christmas. One hundred percent of all donations will be used for this purpose only.
