Why Celebrate?!!

Why Celebrate?!! Just because it is another holiday? Just to be patriotic? Etc.... These may be reasons, but we celebrate because we are free!! Free to get in your car and drive anywhere you want to, anytime you want to. Free to worship at any church or synagogue you choose, anytime you want to. Free to speak out for or against any subject you want. The privilege to vote for officials who run our government. I could go on and on, but I won't. Our freedoms are taken for granted too often.

We need a day like July 4th to remember the many, many men and women who gave their lives before 1776 and even until now to keep us free. Many veterans still carry battle scars and wounds they will have to live with for the rest of their life. I have never heard one of these folks say they regretted what they did for their country. My Dad was a proud WWII veteran who fought in Germany in Patton's Army against the Nazi's to rid this world of evil. Even this day we have soldiers on the battlefield defending our liberties and protecting us so we can continue to live free and even complain if we want to.

So as we celebrate! Shout! I thank God for a country where we have the freedoms which are not available to many people around our globe.

Happy 4th of July!

I appreciate you!

After

The college converted a vending area into a storage room. We supplied and installed a new hollow metal frame with transom panel above, custom sized to fit in the existing opening, caulked and finished the perimeter. Then we installed a pair of doors to match the other existing doors in the building, a new mortise lock and hardware.

SELECT Hinges SL57 Geared Continuous Hinge

Fix "problem doors" for good by fixing the real problem - worn out hinges. Replace worn butt and pivot hinges with the SELECT SL57 full surface geared continuous hinge and you'll eliminate hinge repairs forever and save your maintenance budget.

SELECT geared hinges last more than 60 years on high-traffic doors, outperforming traditional hinges in entrances for retail storefronts, schools, convention centers, sports facilities, airports and other public buildings. SELECT hinges are proven in independent testing through more than 25,000,000 cycles - 10 times beyond Grade 1 cycle count. Pair-Matched™ hinge leaves, lifetime lubrication, anodizing after machining and never-ending Continuous Warranty™ prove their durability. Their long product life cycle and recycled content also help them meet LEED requirements.

Every Select Geared Continuous Hinge is manufactured in the United States and complies with the American provision, section 1605, of the Recovery Act. Select builds these hinges in their plant in Portage, Michigan with innovative sustainability benefits that foreign competitors don't match.
