We Did It!!!! 25 years in business!!
|
It does not seem like it has been 25 years since we started. No customers and starting out in a 1983 Chevrolet Celebrity (previously driven by my school teacher wife). We had a dream and started from scratch in the corner of an office in Oakboro. It has been an exciting journey. The friends and customers we have met along the way have been phenomenal. I remember one of the very first sales I made when starting. It was a bathroom partition job, and I knew nothing about bathroom stalls. It practically filled a small tractor trailer, so I learned about bathroom stalls very quickly. The door and hardware business has been an exciting life for me and the many employees we have had over the years. It is always a challenge to please our customers and meet their needs. On April 24 we had a celebration of our 25th Anniversary in business. It was sponsored by our local Stanly County Chamber of Commerce. We had over 150 in attendance. Pictures say so much more, so click here to see even more pictures of our event. I hope you enjoy them. Again, I say THANK YOU! More than you will ever know! I Appreciate You! Philadelphia Baptist Church
Stanfield, NC
At Philadelphia Baptist Church in Stanfield, NC, we removed the old wood frame and doors and replaced them with Special-lite SL-18 Custom AMP (acrylic modified polyester) six panel doors. These doors have extruded aluminum stiles and rails and incorporate steel tie rods top and bottom. They have poured in place urethane cores. They are then factory finished. In addition to the doors we incorporated VonDuprin 9949 Concealed Vertical Cable Devices. The frame is Special-lite 2 x 6 Heavy duty Tube Frame. We preserved the original Stained Glass in the transom and protected it with clear tempered glass. We then finished the job with a new trim design made of wood and painted to match the doors.
