Little Children & Valentines

Do you remember when you were a very young child and when Valentine's Day would come around? Well.... I do. It was so special. My mom would get me packs of little valentines with envelopes. I would sit down at home and sign my name on the valentines for each of my classmates. I remember especially the third grade when my teacher Mrs. Kluttz had us all to make special large envelopes and set them up all around the classroom. Then each of us kids would "mail" our valentines to all the other kids. I would get so excited to open my envelope and read my valentine. I remember the "heartthrob" when I opened that valentine from a certain "girl". Wow!! We were little children then, but hopefully you now have a special somebody in your life that you can share your Valentine's Day with this year!!!

Locust Baptist Church

 Before  After We were asked to upgrade the main entrance doors to Locust Baptist Church in Locust, N.C. The existing wood doors were not square and the frame was not plumb. It took some creative work to install new custom doors into the opening. However, we accomplished this by using widestile, white aluminum doors with 6 glass panels. These doors were hung using Select SL57HD geared continuous hinges; secured with concealed vertical rod exit devices and controlled with new door closers. We eliminated the old floor closers and filled the cavities. We then installed a new threshold to cover the old floor and cavities. |
