Celebration Time!

Well, Seven Oaks Door and Hardware is about to experience a "first" for us. We have a long time employee who is retiring. Yes it is really happening. I suppose there will be more of us in the future to do the same. Roger Hill who has been our warehouse manager for 12 years is about to enjoy his personal time with grandchildren, golf, wife Lois, and anything else he wishes to do.

He has been a real asset to Seven Oaks Doors and Hardware for 14 years. His loyalty and concern for our company has always been appreciated and will be missed. Roger is the kind of person who enjoys making customers feel welcome when they come to our warehouse. Roger's celebration begins on the Fourth of July.  We wish him well.

The Fourth of July celebration in Oakboro is always a big event. We have between 10,000 to 15,000 people who line the streets for our big parade each year. We know how to celebrate in Oakboro!

I appreciate you!

These Special-lite doors were installed by Ned Russell, a Seven Oaks Doors & Hardware Product Application Specialist, eighteen years ago at Kelly Edwards Elementary School in Williston, SC. The doors still look great and the Precision exits and LCN closers still work as good as new.

"I purchase from Seven Oaks Doors & Hardware because of the service, dependability, knowledge and expertise of their sales representatives and installers. Anytime we have problems with doors, hardware, or toilet partitions, we ask our Seven Oaks Doors & Hardware representative to come and look at it. They always solve our problems, supply the correct products and do a very accurate and clean installation. Their expertise makes my job go so much easier. Their installers are particularly special because they take so much care in doing the job right the first time. One other thing that makes them so great is they always clean up after the job, which is the sign of a true professional."  - Mike Isenhour, Stanly County Family YMCA

Summer Grilling Tips

When preparing the hamburger meat, mix in one package of Lipton onion soup mix per one to two pounds of meat. This adds great flavor to the burger.

After the hamburger patties have been made, put them in the freezer for a few minutes, or until the outside starts to turn hard.  Doing this will help keep the burgers from falling apart.

When using dry seasoning, it is often hard to keep the seasoning on the meat. So before adding seasoning, put a small coat of regular yellow mustard on the meat and then add the seasoning. This will help the seasoning to stay on the meat and you will never taste the mustard.
