Do You Enjoy Hunting or Fishing?
Do you enjoy hunting or fishing?
Left to right: Macy, Rob, and friend Lanee

For any of you who enjoy fishing, it can be year round enjoyment from a lake or river, the ocean, or maybe at Grandpa's pond.  Becky and Rob's daughter, Macy just caught her first fish a few weeks ago.  It was a happy event for her. (see picture)  We, here at Seven Oaks Doors and Hardware got excited for her also!

For the hunters, the season is in, or will be soon, throughout the Carolinas.  Robert Parrish, Operations Manager, is an avid Hunter and Fisherman with trophies all over his office.  Ned Russell raises Field Champion Beagles and has won many awards.  Virrian Norris is our resident "Lake Fisherman" and prepares delicious "Fish Fry" dinners for us every couple of months with the fish he catches.  Noa Luquire enjoys fishing with her husband.  Heath Lee enjoys fishing also and goes every chance he gets.

With Hunting and Fishing as our topic, it reminds me how we at Seven Oaks Doors and Hardware are always "Hunting" and "Fishing" for new business as we service you, our valued customers.  We started out in 1989 as "Hunters" and have "Tracked Down" some of the best "Big Game" (You, our valued customers) over the last 21 years.  Now that we have hunted and found you, we want to add value to you in any way we can as a "High Value Distributor".   Just give us a "Call" when you need help and we'll come a runnin'.  Also, Tell Your Friends About US!!

I appreciate you,
Ed Shimpock
VP and General Manager

Hunting Safety Tips

  • Treat every firearm as if it is loaded.
  • Always point the muzzle in a safe direction.
  • Be certain of your target, and what's beyond it.
  • Keep your finger outside the trigger guard and off the trigger until ready to shoot.
  • All firearm hunters on any land during daylight hunting hours must wear a hat, cap, vest, jacket, rainwear, or other outer garment of Hunter Orange visible from all sides.
  • Always let someone know where you are hunting and when you plan on returning.
