Dear Friends,

It's June! We are poised toward Summer, the perfect season of growth for us to Observe. Evaluate. Act. Three core components of effective change. It's early enough in the year to make room for our preferences without tearing up the entire garden! Eliminate or enrich as you go, letting in space and sunlight to allow healthy relationships to take deep root, nudging beneficial activities to become second nature, and encouraging desirable characteristics to flourish.  

 

Recently, I've been reflecting on the reality of the Oneness of creation and, more importantly, our relationship to that Oneness. Like fish in the ocean or birds in the air, we are supported by the elements of life. It can be challenging to observe the mechanics as we are carried along. It's simply impossible to step outside of life, or be separate from creation. We are always of and within life. Since life is always emerging and developing, we can expect our perceptions and experiences to do the same. We are composed of the same raw materials and primary animating presence as everything in existence and will naturally mirror the lifecycle observed in the natural world. We notice this pattern because it is ours.

 

Now is the month to take stock of what you've been creating. Pull the roots on anything less than fabulous. Since no two things can occupy the same space simultaneously, make more room for what you love. Be deliberate, intentional, and committed to the qualities activated as you move to make love more real in your world. Tend your garden--and prepare for a season of satisfying growth!
