It's Gratitude Season, one of the most transformational times of the year. Energetically, gratitude is cumulative, giving us momentum to such a degree that we gather enough energy to achieve escape speed. Escape speed is the energy required to break through and beyond our current limitations. I love gratitude for this very reason!

 

When I feel stuck, the more I try to free myself, the worse things seem to get. In the mix of emotional distress and physical inertia, the lifeline of gratitude is always waiting... But I think snarky thoughts about this idea and am usually quite certain that my predecessors have not encountered this degree of angst. I must admit, there are times when gratitude seems impossible. What I love about working in the Records is the opportunity to be honest, even when honesty is unattractive. It's a safe sanctuary for letting deeper truths come to the surface. Often, our honorable truths are buried under layers of confusion and dismay. Being held in the Akasha-the Light emanating from the soul connecting us to our Source-we are steadied as we recognize and admit the unsavory qualities of our present state, so that these can dissolve. And this is where I find gratitude gets real, very real.

 

I am grateful to have a safe space within which I can be honest. I am grateful to know that admitting to the less than wonderful qualities I possess is exactly what diminishes or releases them. I am grateful for the insights that empower my journey. I am grateful that the universe is merciful. Even more, I am grateful for the experience of being known and loved unconditionally in my Records-and to know and love others unconditionally as well.
