August Artist of the Month
Denise Wood's entry into photography as a hobby began when she was seeking a way to record the wonderful scenes she enjoyed while hiking in the mountains of Maine and New Hampshire. She set out on a quest to recreate those magical moments inspired by nature, embarking on a journey to achieve a deeper understanding of image creation from capture to print. Since that time, she has been evolving as a photographer. She mostly prefers nature and travel photography, but finds also the beauty in everyday moments and subjects. It has been for Denise a wonderful process of discovery and continual learning. Denise Wood's display will be showing at the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library during the month of August. Feel free to come in and take a look anytime during the library's new business hours: Tuesday through Saturday. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
