Jo hn Vander: New Paintings September-October, 2013, Gold/Smith Gallery, 41 Commercial Street, Boothbay Harbor
Gold/Smith Gallery is featuring new paintings by John Vander from September 5th through October. The exhibit is about places Vander has visited in the last two years. Tuscany, Key West, New York City are a few of his "touch down" subjects. The works are collage and mixed media, rich and vibrant as the places themselves. Vander divides his time between Maine and Tuscany and his paintings make liberal reference to that fact. The public is invited to come and share the fun of this wonderfully diverse exhibit.
