Princess Anne Commons Gateway Park Now Open!

PlaygroundPrincess Anne Commons Gateway Park, a renovation of the former Princess Anne Park located at the corner of Princess Anne and Dam Neck roads, is now open and awaiting your visit! Take the kids to check out the new playground, picnic shelters*, trails and restrooms. Additionally, the park is now home to the Light Garden sculpture which consists of sun-refraction glass panels arranged to resemble a grove of trees.

You'll also notice that meadow management practices have been implemented at this park. The grassy, native vegetation provides natural buffers that foster important environmental and cost-saving benefits.

*Currently, the picnic shelters are available on a first come, first served basis. We'll begin taking shelter reservations at a later date.
