Dear ,

Hope the summer is treating you well! We have just returned from the annual Sage conference in Washington DC this year, and as always, it is a good time but an informative one too! With what we learned, we are going to have a webinar on 'What is new in v2013' in September (register below) as well as look out in future newsletters for information on 'Sage 100 goes mobile', 'Sage Intelligence reporting' and 'Sage CRM'. Lots of exciting things coming!

We're always looking for ways to improve, so if you have any suggestions for newsletter topics, tips, or other ways that we can improve our service level, click here to let us know.

Sage 100 ERP Fields Truncating? Here's a fix:

If you've noticed your Sage 100 ERP screen has some fields which appear truncated, in a lot of cases this is due to either your font size being set to anything except "normal" or the DPI (Dot Pitch) being set to anything except "normal".

Here's how you can check (and correct) both settings in Windows XP:

To change your Window fonts:

  • Open 'Display' in Control Panel.
  • Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Appearance and Themes -> Display.
  • On the Appearance tab in 'Font size', click a new font size (select NORMAL).
Checking the DPI:
  • Go to -> Start -> Control Panel -> Appearance and Themes -> Display.
  • On the Settings tab, click 'Advanced'.
  • On the General tab, in the DPI setting list, click the dots per inch (dpi) setting you want to use (Select NORMAL SIZE 96 DPI).

Sage 100 ERP 2013 Slow Printing Fix

A patch has been issued by Sage for Sage 100 ERP 2013 which is said to resolve various printing issues including reports that print under Sage 100 ERP 2013 were noticeably slower than prior versions. This issue seems to have come about within Accounts Payable check printing but some users have also reported slow printing in other areas.

For the patch, please login to Sage Customer Portal and search for program fix LM5004-T. If you have never signed into the Sage Customer Portal, you can sign up for a login (with a current Sage Client care plan) at: https://customers.sagenorthamerica.com/irj/portal  Any questions, please let us know.
