This month Chart celebrates 50 years in business! Since its humble beginning in 1963 inside a garage in New Prague, Minnesota, (as Minnesota Valley Engineering) our company has grown to become a premier manufacturer of low-temperature cryogenic equipment with plants located all over the globe. NEW! Perma-Cyl®
Shrink Wrapping
For additional protection of Perma-Cyl 2000 and 3000 units during open-bed shipping or for units stored outside before commissioning, Chart U.S. will now offer optional shrink wrapping on NEW customer orders. Shrink-wrapping on Perma-Cyl 1000 and 1500 models will also be available if the tanks are being shipped in an open bed and part of a larger tank purchase.

NEW Tech Service Bulletin
Dura-Cyl® 180 & 230 LP Sight Gauge Change
 Chart has issued a Technical Service Bulletin regarding the change in our liquid level gauges on our Dura-Cyl 180 and 230 LP models from a sight gauge to +/-5% accuracy with the Roto-Tel float style liquid level gauge. The Roto-Tel provides significantly better accuracy than the previous Roto-Cal gauge.

Resetting Liquid Level Gauges

It is recommended that at least once a year the analog liquid level gauge on any manufacturers' tanks be reset to ZERO to insure proper liquid level readings. Because leaks in the Liquid Phase High (LPH) line and the Gas Phase Low (GPL) line could also create liquid level gauge errors, it is suggested that you look for leaks in those lines at the same time.

Updates to MVIP™ Modulator Website
Based on customer feedback, Chart continues to make enhancements to the MVIP Modulator Website. Here are just a few of the recent changes:
- USER FRIENDLY: The entire user interface has been recreated from the ground up and is more intuitive and in-step with current software programs, and we have added a demonstration video to help users get started using the application.
- INCREASED FLEXIBILITY: Users may now add Y-valves in horizontal planes and download drawings to .pdf, .doc or .png formats.
- CONTINUED IMPROVEMENTS:Part number columns have been added to the pick list, modules are now sorted from the shortest to the longest lengths, and warnings have been added to remind users to save their designs.
- CURRENT INFORMATION:
The pricing and part number information is updated in real time.
- SINGLE SIGN-ON:
Your username and password for the MVIP Modulator is the same as what you use for the ChartParts.com website. You will only need to request MVIP Modulator access (see link below for instructions on how to register for the Modulator and ChartParts.com).
- CHART PARTS POINTS:
You will be able to generate FREE Chart Parts Points with purchases made using the MVIP Modulator.
- SUPPORT: Assistance with your MVIP Modulator design from Chart personnel is only a phone call or email away.
