In keeping with this year's Social Studies theme of Women's History, learn about women like Ada Byron Lovelace and Grace Hopper from www.fbalibraryupdate.blogspot.com and from our featured books.

Good News
Representatives from Fontbonne's chapter of Model U.N. participated in the School Model U.N. at the College of William and Mary in Virginia the weekend of November 10-11. Seniors, Tammy Chen. K.J. Moran, and Maretta Morovitz attended. Maretta won an Honorable Delegate award. Thank you to K.J.'s parents who chaperoned the weekend.
The celebration of senior month in November included the annual decorating competition for homerooms. Instead of the usual, decorating cars, the Class of 2013 asked if they could decorate offices. Sr. Maryann Enright's office was transformed into a jungle by homeroom 214. Mrs. Cerasuolo's office became a Candy Land Garden due to the efforts of homeroom 203. The winners, homeroom 113, made Mrs. Kupcinskas feel years younger by changing her office into a college dorm room.
As always, we had a large turnout for Parent/Teacher Conferences Thursday evening and Friday morning, November 15 & 16. The dedicated support of parents is one of the aspects which make Fontbonne Academy such a strong school.
The Good Fountain Players performed a really moving rendition of "Yes, Virginia, There Is a Santa Claus" Friday and Saturday, November 16 & 17, and Sunday November 18. Congratulations to the cast and crew and to director Mr. Anthony Emma and producer Mrs. Carol Fortier for another memorable production. It definitely put us into the spirit of Christmas.
