YOUR BICYCLE COALITION AT WORK
Cycletrack bill at the Judiciary Committee on Wednesday
AB 1193 (Ting) has its first hearing on Wednesday April 24. The bill would ensure that local agencies are able to develop the kinds of protected bikeway we know are necessary to transform our state and triple the amount of bicycling in California by 2020. Passage of the bill will usher in a new era of bikeway development. You can register your support by sending an email to the Committee consultant, Misa Yokoi-Shelton. For more information, check out our Better Bikeways campaign page.

Be a Video Star -- Record a Traffic Safety Testimonial
We're working with the Traffic Safety Coalition to support a reform to the red light camera enforcement program. AB 666 (Wieckowski) would reduce the fines and make other changes to make it easier for communities to install the cameras. Red light cameras reduce fatal red light running crashes by 50% and bicycle riders, as you know, are the most vulnerable.
Do you have a traffic safety testimonial to tell? Record a video and get your story online!
