Gay Passion debated today at HuffPost

HuffPost Gay Passion article

Heated debate erupted today when Huffington Post ran a major article and slideshow on the gay Passion of Christ.

Most of the 650 comments denounce it as "blasphemy" or "ridiculous," so please go to HuffPost and add a comment telling why you like "The Passion of Christ: A Gay Vision."

Kittredge Cherry wrote the article, which includes a cool slideshow of Passion images by Doug Blanchard.

New review: Gay Passion is "the real deal"

Book cover Passion of Christ A Gay Vision

"The Jesus in this book is the real deal," says

award-winning poet Jendi writer in a new review of "The Passion of Christ: A Gay Vision."

She writes, "I found this book very helpful for my own prayer life. I would love to have a stronger heart-level connection with the person of Jesus, but often struggle to connect with the ubiquitous beard-and-bathrobe representation of the Savior, which feels clich and remote from my experience. I felt a stronger bond with Blanchard's Jesus." See review at Reiter's Block

One day, two processions;
One meek, an arriving Lamb,
    soothing, offering Grace;
The other, Dreadful Power
    speaking intimidation.
One died, and thus lives on.
The other lived on, but now is gone.
