Official Victory for NOCCCD's Measure J
The Orange County Superior Court Judge's ruling to unequivocally uphold the voters' approval of Measure J officially stands now that a fully executed stipulation has been signed. The plaintiff, Charles R. Clough, waived his right to appeal the Judge's ruling, and the North Orange County Community College District (NOCCCD) and its co-defendants, the Los Angeles Office of the Registrar and the Orange County Office of the Registrar, waived their rights to costs incurred. Fullerton College Hosts Inaugural Veterans Career and Resource Fair
Fullerton College's Veterans Resource Center will host its inaugural Veterans Career and Resource Fair on April 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the campus Quad. Nearly 50 organizations will be present to connect veterans and dependents of veterans to services offered within the surrounding community and the college. Massage Therapy Program Guest Lecturer
The FC Massage Therapy program is sponsoring a special guest lecture by author James Waslaski. He will present a workshop on "Integrated Manual Therapy to Eliminate Multiple Nerve Crush Phenomenon" on April 19 in the North Gym. Asian Pacific Islander Faculty and Staff Association Scholarship

Symphonic Winds April 9 Fullerton College's Symphonic Winds group will perform in concert April 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Campus Theatre. Tickets for students and seniors are $7, adults are $10, and children are $5. Call for Entries: Student Art Exhibition April 13-14 Students may submit artwork for jurying on April 13-14 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. and from 6-7 p.m. in the Art Gallery. Works must have been completed in a Fullerton College art class during the 2014/2015 academic year. Students may enter up to four pieces of art for $5 a piece. Entry forms are available online or in the Art Office. Combo Night April 16 This concert features three award-winning instrumental jazz combos performing written and improvised jazz ranging in style from Dixieland to fusion. The ensembles are directed by Mike Scott, Dr. Joe Jewell and Bruce Babad. Tickets for students and seniors are $7, adults are $10, and children are $5. The concert will perform on April 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Campus Theatre. |

The baseball Hornets fell short of a comeback in the ninth inning losing to Orange Coast College 7-4 at home Saturday . Read more ...
Softball
Fullerton suffered a tough 7-1 home-loss last Thursday at the hands of Santa Ana College. The game was tied 1-1 going into the fifth inning until errors bogged down the Hornet efforts. Up Next: FC will do their best to keep up in the Orange Empire Conference standings when they hit the road against Cypress College on Tuesday, March 31. Game time is at 3 p.m.
Women's Track & Field
The Hornets headed south to Orange Coast College for their last double dual Orange Empire Conference meet of the season. Fullerton managed a victory over Santa Ana College 96-22, but fell to Riverside City College 107-40. FC wrapped up the OEC double dual season with an overall record of 3-3. This was a premier competition with many conference, SoCal, and State leaders in all of the events. Read more ...
