The Drowsy Chaperone March 12-15, 19

The Drowsy Chaperone poster

The Drowsy Chaperone is a tribute to the delightfully frothy Broadway musicals of the 1920's but with a contemporary twist. As a traditional song and dance show, the production is a valentine to the glory days of a bygone era of musical theatre.

Women's Basketball

The Lady Hornets ended their season last Friday night playing the first Round of the Southern California Playoffs at Ventura College (last season's state champs). It was the first time since the 2011-12 season that the Hornets made it to the playoffs as second-year coach Marcia Foster put together a feisty and talented team this season.

Jasmine Mendoza also ran those same events and placed in the top ten. In the 200M, Samantha Duong and Fanny Giron ran 26.67 (9th place) and 26.88 (11th place) respectively times. The throwers continue to emerge in the shot put and hammer events especially.
