Getting Involved: College Clubs
On a commuter campus, it's easy to just drive to campus for classes and never really connect with other students or feel like you're a part of the campus community.  I encourage each of you to find get involved on campus and truly become a Fullerton College Hornet while you're here.  Join the  Speech and Debate Team, work on The Hornet, or find a student club that interests you.   Get involved!

All of our honors students should consider joining one or both of our campus Honor Societies: Alpha Gamma Sigma (AGS) and Phi Theta Kappa (PTK).  They offer students the opportunity to display leadership, community service, and fellowship among other dedicated students.  There are scholarships available from each honors society.

Alpha Gamma Sigma (AGS) Honors Society
AGS fosters, promotes, and recognizes scholastic achievement and serves the community and Fullerton College.

Every other Wednesday from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Room 224

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honors Society PTK promotes scholarship, development of leadership, service, and cultivates fellowship among qualified students of this college.

First Meeting: Thursday, September 5 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Room 229

Getting Involved: Associated Students

Associated Students on a college campus is very different than the high school ASB.  Fullerton College has a structure of shared governance which means that students are represented not just in their own student government, but also on campus and district committees including Curriculum, Budget, Planning, and hiring committees for campus administrators.  You have the chance to serve on committees with faculty, staff, and administrators.  It's a great opportunity to expand your experiences, learn more about the college, and make a difference.

Associated Students Website

Meetings: Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m., Room 227

Stop by and see how you can get involved.

A Place at the Table Official Trailer #1 (2013) - Documentary Movie HD

The Political Science Student Association will be screening the documentary film, "A Place at the Table" about hunger in America.  After the film, Mark Lowry, Executive Director of the Orange County Food Bank will discuss hunger in our own community.

PSSA will be issuing a club challenge to see which student club can bring in the most donations for the Chris Lamm Memorial Food Bank on campus.  Collection boxes will be available around campus.

The campus community is invited to the film screening and to participate in the food drive.

Tell Us Your Story - Fullerton College Centennial
The story of Fullerton College is more than facts and dates - it's the experiences you had here as a student, staff, or faculty member.

Tell us your story. We have already interviewed over 100 people. Many of the stories will be incorporated into our centennial events, projects and publications.
