Greetings!

We did it! We made it through another year and y'all made it such a wonderful and amazing 2012! I always say that I'm so blessed to have such great friends, and I truly mean it. We spent a very lovely time reading all of your Christmas messages and opening your packages and I tell you the truth, it was overwhelming how much you guys care and invest in us.

That's what makes it all the more exciting for us all of the things we have planned for you this year! We've got a new design for our site, a new page where y'all can submit your reviews, and we want to find even more ways that we can interact and help share your commitment to the Johnstone family.

2013 is going to be a great year, and instead of new beginnings, I say let's just keep truckin', keep Bill's words out there and make his dreams come true. I hope you'll stick with us and that we always make it worth your while!

Preacher's Massacre
The First Mountain Man #19

Frontier life is hard and it takes a particular kind of man to make it.

Preacher is one of those men, rugged and hard living and along with his travelling companions Horse and Dog he has a life he is content with - hunting and trapping for a living and when he wants human company he knows where to find it.

Still, Preacher is about to do a good turn he may live to regret. He comes to the aid of Wiley Courtland and his horse herd to the outpost at Fort Gifford, helping to protect them from the Blackfoot war party led by Red Knife who is determined to stop them by any deadly means.

But Wiley Courtland isn't being entirely honest about his intentions and Preacher is about to wish that he'd just ignored the gunfire that day and just kept riding...

The Brother's O'Brien
A Time to Slaughter

The O'Briens are a successful ranching family and Colonel Shamus O'Brien leads them with a fair and firm hand.

Their schoolteacher Julia has a secret which, when revealed, will place her life in peril. She is taken from her safe haven to a life of slavery in faraway lands, and that just won't stand with the O'Briens.

Shawn O'Brien and some unlikely allies set after her to bring her back to where she belongs.

It's All About You!

So many of you write in and give us such wonderful feedback on the books and book trailers that we've been thinking it was about time we did something to showcase your talents!

To go along with our blog, we have set up a Review page so that you can submit your thoughts for everyone to see. In addition, we may choose your review to feature in our monthly newsletter to go along with our new releases!

Check us out here at: Johnstone Family Reviews

The Marines are shipping one of our own overseas this month so we are aware at this moment, as always, of the sacrifices so many of you have made and the burdens that you and your loved ones continue to bear so that we can be free and safe.

Thank you and thank them for their dedication and love for our great nation. May we never forget. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.

May God Bless you and make this a very Happy New Year.

Until next time, keep your powder dry.

READERS OF THE MONTH

Every month we choose two readers who have done a lot for us - always putting themselves out there, sharing the Johnstone knowledge, willing to lend an ear to others in times of trouble, and for generally just being great to know.

We're pleased to say that this month's readers are: Arlin Burton and Charlene Carter!
