We Still Live Here
Âs Nutayuneân

The remarkable saga of the cultural revival of the Wampanoag of Southeastern Massachusetts. Their ancestors ensured the survival of the Pilgrims in New England and lived to regret it. Now they are bringing their language home
again.

"There is nothing I know that's anything like the Wampanoag case."
                                                                                 -- Noam Chomsky

Coming to Light

The dramatic story of the life of Edward S. Curtis, the creation of his monumental photographic work, and his changing views of the people he set out to document.  Hopi, Navajo, Cupig, Blackfeet, Piegan, Suquamish and Kwakiutl people, many of them descended from
Curtis's subjects, tell stories about the people in Curtis's photographs,
and discuss the meaning of the images from their own perspectives.

"A beautifully-crafted epic." -- David Ansen, Newsweek
