Italian Summer: Slow Food Style (demo)
Vera Ciammetti is a first-generation American of Italian immigrant parents from L'Aquila, Abruzzi. She has worked locally and internationally for the Slow Food organization, which addresses issues such as biodiversity, sustainability and fair working conditions. She cooks and teaches cooking throughout the Bay Area. 

Italian Summer - Slow Food Style Menu:
          • Grilled Asparagus with Fried Egg and Parmigiano
          • Fennel Salad with Oranges
          • Pasta with Carrot Greens Pesto
          • Grilled Shrimp and Lemons
          • Carrots on the Grill

Maria Capedeville
Maria Capdevielle is a classically trained pastry chef from Abruzzo, Italy, and the author of My Sweet Abruzzo. She is the consulting pastry chef at V. Sattui in Santa Helena. Her local restaurant experience includes San Francisco's Rose Pistola, The Townhouse Grill & Restaurant in Emeryville and Chez Panisse in Berkeley.

          • Limoncello Babas-with lemon cream
          • Watermelon Jelly with Pistachio
          • Peach Semifreddo

Paella Party! (demo)
Linda Carucci is an award-winning culinary instructor and cookbook author. She wrote Cooking School Secrets for Real World Cooks, which was honored as a finalist for a James Beard cookbook award and for the IACP Julia Child First Book Award. From 2007 to 2011 she was the inaugural chef director at The Art Institute of California, San Francisco and prior to that she served as the first Julia Child director of culinary programs at COPIA in Napa Valley. In 2002 she received the honor of the IACP Cooking Teacher of the Year. In 2014 she was presented the Lifetime Achievement award by the San Francisco Professional Food Society, and at the 2015 Women Chefs & Restaurateurs conference she received the Women who Inspire Award for Educator of the Year.  

Paella Party Menu:
          • Sangria Rioja-with fresh peaches
          • Pan con Tomaquet-tomato-rubbed bruschetta
          • Shaved Fennel Salad with Manchego, Currants and Pine Nuts
          • Paella Mar y Montana-with shrimp, squid, sausage and chicken
          • Granadinas-toasted wheat flour and ground almond cookies from Granada
